Hey, whats the difference between eating a cow and eating a dog. i eat
neither. and no, eating dog is not openly accepted in korea. those that do
are from the older generations. you must remember that korea has gone from
third world status to a position within the top ten economically grossing (or
however you say it) countries in the world. the past is still the past.
all of this happened within that last 15 years or so.
i love my homeland. *marches and sings the s korean national anthem*
not many that i know hate north koreans, just the north korean government.
brainwashing runs amok on both sides. these are our brothers and sisters,
parents and grandparents. my grandmother does not know where her parents are
buried, if her sister is alive or not. she still cries for them, she fled in
the diaspora to other countries and was separated. she was lucky, she married
a general in the s korean army. she had six children. 4 girls, 2 boys. she
is an angel. she is much stronger than me. we are lionesses. :)
i have a pen pal in korea, i wanted to know what it was like to be a teenager
there. my luck, i find one of the only punks in korea. there's a small punk
club in seoul, a few bands and that's it. i love my homeland.
i love the people, i love the concepts, i love the stupid, blind pride.
i love all of it.

Cows don't DO anything.
Go ahead, try training your cow to get your slippers. I dare you.
They're also easier to catch and kill than dogs. Cows don't fight back.
And I don't care how good of an animal trainer you are, there will
NEVER be Seeing-Eye Cows.
Also, cows don't even pretend to give a shit about you. Dogs have saved
children's lives.
Cows also have a hell of a lot more meat on 'em.
IMO, the choice is obvious. Why eat the scrawny, friendly, and very
useful dog, when there's a big, stupid, fat-assed cow just over yonder that you
can walk right up to, kill, and feed your family on?
