This board is not about sex.

It is about tea.

#2/50: By: Adagio (#25) : ohhhhh...
 03/11/97 08:19am

        Jospeh, that was BAD...

Hal: That actually sounds kinda fun. I could be down for that...

        btw...I'll bite: keemun?

        -Il Diavolo

#3/50: By: HAL 9000 (#73) : keemun, a variety of tea.

#4/50: By: diatribe (#4) : PC pirates
 03/11/97 04:41pm

wouldn't it be more unPC by portraying all the women as servants? :)
hey, where's my naked slave boy? have you even been to Chado? they have the
best tea sandwiches and cutest tea pots!
starbucks only pays it's bean pickers 2.15 a day . . .

#5/50: By: ZAPHOD (#41) : Im right here

at the behest of the severe maidens.

very disneyesque...
in a kindofa symBOLic way, of course...

#7/50: By: Beledi (#65) (SIGOp) : Chado? No not yet
 03/12/97 01:23am

but if you tell me where it is I'll check it out. My favotite tea rooms are
La-Tea-Da's in Arcadia and Tea Rose Garden in Pasadena. Haven't been back to
La-Tea-Da's in a while though- we had Kiara's 1st birthday party there- nearly
2 years ago, and we were so embarassed by how my best friend and some of the
relatives behaved that we've been afraid to show our faces there. Tea \rose
Garden let's you choose your own sandwiches, unlike some places which make you
take what they've got, and they bring you the most wonderful mound of fresh
fruit with dipping cream. La-Tea-Da's, however has better homemade soup.

Your naked slave boy? Didn't he serve you when you walked into this
establishment? No? Well, then, I will certainly have him, ummm, punished.
Unless you'd like to do it for us?

Actually, the title of this board came from a friend of mine who wanted to get
a t(ea) shirt made up with a picture of a kneeling naked man holding a tea tray
up to his mistress, and the inscription, "I served my mistress at the naked
slave boy tea party." She was going to make her lover wear it in public, and I
wanted her to have two made up so that HAL could wear one, too.

PC pirates- I see nothing PC about the newly added food. Female pirates is
really the only way to go on this one..

#8/50: By: Adagio (#25) : hrm
 03/12/97 02:26am

Hal: I gathered. Was hoping for something a tad more specific.

        Diatribe: tea sandwiches?

Beledi: I would -have- to have one of those shirts. That's -too- cool!
Totally 'gree 'bout the pirates, too. Female pirates rock! Sexy, too...;>

        -Il Diavolo

#9/50: By: Beledi (#65) (SIGOp) : tea sandwiches-
 03/12/97 01:06pm

tiny little sandwiches with cucumber or orange flavored cream cheese with
almonds or any number of tasty delicacies. Cucumber sandwiches rule! You must
nibble them politely and keep your pinky finger raised at all times whioe
consuming them.

#10/50: By: HAL 9000 (#73) : well, lets see...
 03/12/97 10:55pm

I believe Keemun tea is Chinese rather than English (Like, for example, Earl
Grey - HOT) and as I recall, it had small, dark leaves and a somewhat dark,
heavy taste. Find one of those stores in the mall that sell sausages. i thin
they have it.

#11/50: By: Adagio (#25) : Funky
 03/13/97 11:29am

Bel: I hink I feel the fear coming on...

HAL: Hmmm...doesn't sound too terribly shabby. Might be a nice change
from the orange-coloured water I'm used to...

Anyone 'ere know the jap'nese tea ceremony?

        -Il Diavolo

#12/50: By: diatribe (#4) : bonnie
 03/13/97 05:22pm

bonnie was a female pirate that crossdressed to get on a boat. she could spit
and sing with the best of em. i've watched a japanese tea ceremony. as for
chado, call information and ask for the los angeles dir. i've got a naked boy
but he's not a slave.'

#13/50: By: diatribe (#4) : oh yah, reed was the other female pirate.
 03/13/97 05:25pm

#14/50: By: Beledi (#65) (SIGOp) : Adagio-
 03/13/97 06:34pm

be afraid - be very afraid. The best part about tea houses is that some of
them provide costumes during your visit- Top hats, feather boas and fancy
victorian hats for the ladies. You sit very straight and try to look dignified
while listening to chamber music and sipping your tea. It is fun. Try it
somtime.

#15/50: By: ZAPHOD (#41) : Beledi:
 03/14/97 01:16am

Sounds like a GREAT idea for a BAR! when you come in
they hand you a musket and a Sumbrero!

#16/50: By: Adagio (#25) : hrm
 03/14/97 02:12am

Bel: -Too- funky. Unfortunately, I don't think I have the right sort of
friends for the whole tea bit...

Zap: Er, would that be a working musket or no?

        -Il Diavolo

#17/50: By: ZAPHOD (#41) : Adagio:
 03/14/97 01:39pm

Yes of corse the musket has to work, keeps evryone nice and mellow
or not - you only get one shot before ya have to re load, better
to use as hevy stick - one shot at a time would also keep the
insurance rates down.

#18/50: By: Beledi (#65) (SIGOp) : Muskets-
 03/14/97 04:57pm

how about a pirate tea party? Men and women can chase each other for a cup of
tea and a cucumber sandwich, while wearing funky and revealing pirate outfits.

#19/50: By: ZAPHOD (#41) : Yeah!
 03/14/97 09:58pm

Hay baby, I got a cucumber sandwich for ya!

Wanna BITE?

Just like the pirates of the caribean!

Arrg, Arrg Arrg Ohho!

#20/50: By: Adagio (#25) : I'm liking the sound of this. Most definitely. ;>
 03/15/97 04:52am

#21/50: By: lucifer (#102) : A deft little tea party
 03/15/97 02:34pm

Hal, I like that idea of going to the tea rooms in totally anarchistic
fashions. I'm game.

After watching the New New New Pirates of the Caribbean coverage I've come to
the conclusion that the whole thing is merely a ruse. Who says the pirates are
lusting after the food now? I maintain that they're lusting after the
waitresses (and what guy hasn't lusted for his waitess on occasion?). Nothing
has really changed, just one perception for a more idiotic one. This time
around, though, the women are somewhat more empowered because they have
employment, are working and taking care of themselves. No longer are they
helpless females setting about waiting for (or hiding from) being raped.
The pirates are still pirates. The women now have weapons: serving trays
and turkey legs that fit quite well into pirate anal orifices.

There's a sight. Pirates staggering about from NOT being frunk, if you get
the idea.

As for female pirates, we DO have Xena Warrior Princess now, don't we?
An inspiration for women everywhere, I'm sure.
Anyone for seconds?.....er, to second that motion?

#22/50: By: Radio Free Willy (#3) : I'm holding out for a blunderbuss.
 03/17/97 11:17am

Anyone else notice that about 85% of the indignant radio talk show discussion
of the PC Pirates is on stations owned by Disney?

"After this, we sailed around and punished one another some more. MMMMMMMM."

#23/50: By: Adagio (#25) : which stations are owned by Disney?
 03/19/97 04:36am

        Discerning listeners wanna know.

        -Il Diavolo

#24/50: By: Radio Free Willy (#3) : Disney bought ABC
 03/25/97 11:23am

That makes them owners of AM stations KABC, KTZN (ex-KMPC), FM station KLOS,
and TV channels 7 and 9. I might be leaving a couple out.

Westinghouse bought CBS, so they own both news stations in L.A. (KNX and KFWB)

Paramount Pictures owns Blockbuster Video. General Electric owns NBC. Rupert
Murdoch and Time/Warner/Turner own everything else.

#25/50: By: Adagio (#25) : woah...
 03/25/97 03:52pm

They own KLOS? Fuckin' a. I didn't know that KMPC became KTZN,
though...that musta been kinda recent.

I think I'd rather have CBS own the news stations rather'n
Disney, that's f'r friggin' sure...;>

Hey, you know who owns Infinity Broadcasting? I can't freakin' remember
for some reason...

        -Il Diavolo

#26/50: By: ZAPHOD (#41) : Disney
 03/26/97 12:04am

is also a major stock holder in the "SPAM" corporation
a well known (yet thinley veild) company that gets its stock
from left over parts from SERIOUS CYBERNETICS and THE HAPPY
ELEVATOR COMPANY....forewarned is forearmed.

#27/50: By: gosubrun (#16) : female pirates
 03/27/97 08:01pm

wither my research takes me, strange ways...
anyways
some time back, i came across a lot of info regarding pirates and their
lifestyle. Don't ask me why...

turns out the thing about "carrying off women" is largely a fiction; most
pirate encounters were at sea, where females were scarce; perhaps one or two,
like Teach, actually raided one hamlet or small villiage one time, but it was
not often...

most pirate towns were on forbidding coastal islets or inhospitable terrain far
removed from amenities of civilization, warm water and female company.

most pirate "women" were in fact crossdressed or feminized men.
fascinating, Captain

#28/50: By: HAL 9000 (#73) : Men in dresses attack small town. Film at eleven
 03/27/97 11:51pm

YO HO, YO HO, Its a pirates life for me!

When civilization ends and I start a mutant horde we'll all wear dresses.

SISTUH-HOOD (Is cross dressing with attitude) IS BEAUTIFUL

#29/50: By: Adagio (#25) : The farthest I go is a kilt. No more.
 03/28/97 02:28am

#30/50: By: diatribe (#4) : cross dress to impress :)
 03/28/97 02:44pm

it's not even the gender thing. men should just feel HOW COMFORTABLE and
freeing dresses are. :) i couldn't live without em. they make you feel so
sexy too. try one on, frolick a bit, then report back to me.

diatribe

#31/50: By: ZAPHOD (#41) : There was this period:
 03/29/97 01:44am

around the summer of '84 when all the men employed at the Sojourner
(local groovy-doo,yougart headed, leftover from the sixties vegen
restraunt in Santa Barbara) all decided to wear skirts insted of
pants, caused quite the stir, well, the news wire picked it up
and there were blurbs about it in the new yourk tines, the washington
post and comments on it during the Larry King show - was gonna cause
a national hull-a-baloo, the thought it was pritty cool though

#32/50: By: Adagio (#25) : the concept of wearing only a single garment
 03/29/97 04:27am

        is totally impractical to me.

        -Il Diavolo

#33/50: By: HAL 9000 (#73) : I usually put on a dress a couple of times a
 03/30/97 12:27pm

year for some public foray - I usually don't shave off the beard or wear
make-up, just put on the dress...

And sometimes I wear Diana's lingerie while doing the house work.

#34/50: By: ZAPHOD (#41) :
 03/30/97 09:37pm

In brazil its not uncommon to see the soccer field with a team of
"MANILY-MEN" all running around playing soccer! see they have no
money to bet the other team so the wager that whichever team louses
has to play the next game in WOMENS CLOTHING! HaHaHa!
very humiliating for the louser very satiisfing for the winners!

#35/50: By: diatribe (#4) : one fold at a time
 03/31/97 08:25pm

more efficient. one garment, slip on- slip off. if you don't count bra and
underwear. warm in cold weather (depending on fabric and cut), cool in warm
weather (depending on fabric and cut). it's now, it's wow, it's a dress,

#36/50: By: ZAPHOD (#41) : I always liked
 03/31/97 11:14pm

the "easy acsess" aspect of a my object of desire in a nice summer dress.

#37/50: By: Adagio (#25) : well hey,
 04/02/97 02:25am

zaph: I'm all for dresses for my vic--er, partners...;>

dia: Efficient? Perhaps. Still, leaves no options for back up. If it's
ruined, you're shit outta luck. At least I can sometiems cover ripped pants
with the shirt I'm wearin'...

HAL: Somehow, that gives me the implication that no matter who does it,
housekeeping is a feminine thing. I do hope that isn't what you're trying to
convey...;>

        -Il Diavolo

#38/50: By: HAL 9000 (#73) : No not at all...
 04/02/97 11:59am

My spouse just likes seeing me in her lingerie...

And me, slut that I am, will do ANYTHING please her...

ANYTHING....?

ANYTHING.

#39/50: By: Beledi (#65) (SIGOp) : He will, yes.
 04/03/97 11:15pm

My very own naked slave boy, pouring my tea- or whatever.

I agree with diatribe about dresses. I never ever ever ever wear pants. I
will sometimes resort to a shirt and skirt, but the dress is the ultimate
garment. And if it's not too windy, you can go without underwear, and the
feeling of lovely cool air sloshing about the nether regions of the body are
just so deliciously yummy- sort of like going nude, but legal.

GLEEP!

#41/50: By: gosubrun (#16) : i love dresses
 04/05/97 11:18pm

hehehe only when i'm wicked to i think of the "easy access" thing
but it sure is exciting then
basically, i like them because of the interesting textures and
constructions as opposed to most men's clothing.
the swoop and ripple of it is sensually satisfying

i like extremes; from 4 layers of petticoats and chemise
to xtremely tight cherry-red pvc vinyl "bad girl" rig

i wear them when i feel like it.
only for special occasions do i do a full-body shave

interestingly, steppe shamans shave their entire body as a
sacrifice and a sensitizer; the nerves all tingle

'spesh in nice sheer thigh-highs eh eh eh

#42/50: By: ZAPHOD (#41) : Well,,,,,
 04/06/97 12:07am

I never put on a dress except for one time...I was 5 or 6 years old
and as a holloween gag my sisters thought it would be cute to little
Zaphie up in a wig and dress, now for the scary part, THEY TOOK
PICTURES!!!! then many years the delighted in showing them to my
dates (jeez) tramatized for life, I would sooner be tarred and
feathered....

#43/50: By: HAL 9000 (#73) : poor guy... I would have left her in Santa
 04/06/97 02:23pm

Barbara - ah c'mon - just walk it off - go play some soccor.

Yeah gosubrun, I agree with you... the sensual satisfaction is wonderful,
thought I've never tried the full "Bad Girl" rig... usually I dress in as
classy a female style as possible - sweater, nice skirt or suit dress. The one
time I made an exception to that policy was last April when I dressed Dyke and
went to "City of Lost Children" with diatribe, Adagio, S.C., Joseph, etc.

I wore a ragged animal print skirt in orange and earth tones, a blue sweater,
hiking boots, and a big guatemalan draw string purse with several fishing
weights. I didn't shave my legs, comb my hair or remove my beard. I had to
have been the scariest thing on Santa Monica Blvd that night. The movie was
toward the west side on a Friday night and all the Orthodox Jews gave me a wide
berth and even wider eyes - it was fun!!!

#44/50: By: ZAPHOD (#41) : I gotta say...
 04/06/97 09:01pm

Only a "REAL MAN" would have the BALLS to do a thing like that
I wish I had pictures to show your daughters dates....

#45/50: By: Beledi (#65) (SIGOp) : That was not dressing dyke, dear-
 04/07/97 12:39am

you wore a skirt, and believe me, all the dykes I know have much better sense
than to wear that daring little ensemble you put together to go to that movie.

and- our duaghter is going to have a hard enough time explaining Daddy to her
dates without pictures, don't you think?

#46/50: By: ZAPHOD (#41) : Yeah I suppose...
 04/07/97 10:43am

#47/50: By: HAL 9000 (#73) : Yes it was - sort of a grossly progressive, gorp
 04/08/97 07:49pm

sucking Eco-Dyke. Also, (big point here) how could anyone in HOLLYWOOD have
known I was cross dressing if I didn't wear a skirt?

#48/50: By: Beledi (#65) (SIGOp) : Even with a skirt
 04/08/97 08:46pm

it can be hard to get noticed as a cross-dresser in hollywood.

#49/50: By: ZAPHOD (#41) : Yeah especially
